Question:
Doing some testing on a CRM V3 and noticed that when you take the Outlook Client offline and look at the details of the dialogue box, I see sometimes hundreds of 'System Records' being updated. This is without any changes client or server side and with only a couple of records in the database. Does anyone know what these 'System records' are?

Answer:
System records reflect a bucket of objects that are needed internally for the app to work. Things like security and the UI layouts are all part of these tables. Is this the first time you went offline with this client or is it a subsequent time?
I wouldn't expect a huge amount of change to these unless you made some form changes.
